"Turquoise" is one of several digital compilations in the series "Reclaiming Her Vision". The Moab hiking trip over several days resulted in a plethora of gorgeous landscape photos that inspired me. Digitally layering, enhancing, and abstracting them is resulting in this series that continues to grow. This was the first piece inspired to be digitally altered from the original photographic series. I had realized that the hiking trip was more than a vacation or a photo-journaling opportunity. I was inspired to reawaken my creative side and work digitally, as my studio space had been sold and I did not have the elbow room needed to paint as large as I like to paint.
